Situated about eighteen miles north of Glasgow City Centre, Balfron Station is within a forty five minute drive of same and has a good range of local services in neighbouring Killearn including an excellent village primary school, with secondary at the renowned Balfron High in the village of Balfron. In Killearn, there are nursery schools, a tennis club, excellent health centre, a Co-op and good butchers. There is also a character Village Inn with restaurant, hotel, chemist, hairdressers, gift shop, an art gallery and coffee shops/interior designers. There is a local parish church, a private tennis club and golf clubs in the neighbouring villages of Balfron and Drymen. Living in Killearn is a lifestyle choice, surrounded by some beautiful countryside on the fringe of the Loch Lomond & Trossach’s National Park and sits quietly at the foothills of the Campsie Fells. More major facilities can be found in the suburbs of Bearsden and Milngavie where there are railway stations providing four trains an hour into Glasgow’s West End and City Centre.
Travelling from our office at Canniesburn Toll exit the roundabout north onto Drymen Road and continue up through The Cross. Turn right onto Stockiemuir Road (at the triangle) and continue through the next two roundabouts to stay on Stockiemuir Road heading towards Drymen. Continue straight, passing Drymen on your left hand side before turning an eventual right on to the road signposted Gartacharn Road where the property can be found some way along on the right hand side.
