The Gartconnell district lies just to the north of Bearsden Cross and here you will find an excellent selection of shops and services, with good independents – butchers, fishmongers and delicatessens, together with a Marks & Spencer’s food hall. There are restaurants, a couple of quality bars, banks and Post Office, doctors and dental surgeries.
The property falls within the catchment for Bearsden Primary, which is at The Cross, and for the excellent facilities of Bearsden Academy at Courthill. St. Andrew’s Primary is on Duntocher Road.
For transport, bus services operate nearby on Drymen Road, with train stations at Hillfoot and Bearsden. For leisure interests, Bearsden, quite uniquely, has a ski club with its excellent clubhouse and two slopes. There are tennis clubs and a number of golf courses.
From Corum’s office at Canniesburn Toll, exit northbound on Drymen Road (A809) and proceed to the traffic lights at Bearsden Cross. Continue through The cross and turn right into Ralston Road. Continue down Ralston Road and turn left into Gartconnell Road and second right into Elm Walk. The property can then be found on the left hand side midway down the cul-de-sac.
