River Heights is well placed for local amenities on Dumbarton Road and Crow Road, including shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. There are also a number of national retailers, including Marks & Spencer and Morrisons. Byres Road is also close by, where a further selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants can be found. Here, there is also a Waitrose and a cinema.
Public transport is readily available by rail and underground from nearby Partick Station or Kelvinhall Station and a regular bus service operates on Dumbarton Road. The Clydeside Expressway is also close by for car access to the City Centre and motorway network and the Clyde Tunnel. Glasgow Airport is approximately six miles away.
There are a number of major employers in the area, including the BBC, STV, several hospitals and Glasgow University.
From Corum’s office on Hyndland Road, proceed city bound along Hyndland Road continue straight ahead at the traffic light junction with Clarence Drive taking an eventual right onto Hyndland Street. Proceed to the bottom taking left onto Dumbarton Road, continue along Dumbarton Road for some distance veering right at the fork in the road onto Argyle Street. Continue along for some distance taking an eventual right onto Finnieston Street, proceed to the end of Finnieston Street and take left onto Lancefield Quay where the River Heights Development can be found on the left-hand side.
