Killearn remains one of the most attractive and sought after villages in Stirlingshire in which to reside. Situated about eighteen miles north of Glasgow City Centre, it is within approximately a forty minute drive of same and has a good range of local services, including an excellent village primary school, with secondary at the renowned Balfron High in the neighbouring village of Balfron – to which a bus service is laid on. Living in Killearn is a lifestyle choice, surrounded by some beautiful countryside on the fringe of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park and sits quietly at the foothills of the Campsie Fells. More major facilities can be found in the suburbs of Bearsden and Milngavie where there are railway stations providing four trains an hour into Glasgow’s West End and City Centre.
Proceeding northbound out of Glasgow and specifically Milngavie, take the A81 Strathblane Road, through the hamlet of Craigmaddie and through the village of Strathblane/Blanefield. Continue out into the countryside, past the Glengoyne Whisky Distillery on the right hand side and turn right as signposted for Killearn and the A875. Follow this road into the village and up the main street, turning right at the top of the hill in front of the church and first left down Station Road (B834). Take second left onto Napier Road where the property can be found some way along on the right hand side.
