Milngavie is noted for its excellent schooling, with the local primary school being Milngavie Primary and with secondary schooling at Douglas Academy. In Milngavie’s pedestrianised precinct there is a Marks & Spencer’s Food Hall, Boots, Tesco and a selection of independent stores that will cater for just about every requirement. As well as a Waitrose, there are banks, a post office, doctor’s surgeries, opticians, a dentist surgery, butchers, and restaurants. Importantly, only a short walk away, there is a railway station with regular trains into Glasgow’s West End and City Centre. Close by are many of Milngavie’s beautiful walks including the renowned West Highland Way, reservoir and Mugdock Country Park.
From Corum’s office at Canniesburn Toll exit onto Milngavie Road (A801) and proceed northbound, past the shops at Hillfoot, and to the roundabout at Arnold Clark’s showroom. Exit right (third exit) here onto Glasgow Road (A81). After going under the railway bridge and through the traffic lights, turn right into Dougalston Gardens North then right onto Dougalston Gardens South, continue along until the junction with Dougalston Crescent. Turn right into the cul-de-sac where the property can be found towards the end on your right hand side.
