Largs is a picturesque sea-side town located on the stunning Ayrshire West Coast. The town holds many festivals, The Viking Festival being the most famous. It is a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike. Largs features a splendid seafront and promenade, two golf courses, superb yacht marina, bowling clubs and fine bars and restaurants, the most famous of which, Nardinis has recently undergone a multi million pound refurbishment. Largs Pier operates hugely popular cruises on the PS Waverley, the last ocean going paddle steamer. The town is well served by travel links; the centre of Glasgow is approximately 30 miles away while both Glasgow and Prestwick international airport are approximately 25 miles to the north and south. There is an electrified train service running hourly to Glasgow and good 'A' roads leading to the M8 motorway.
